ELCEP and Creative Schools alternative designs

Having recently created the new identity for ELCEP and Creative schools we wanted to share a few of the designs that didn't make the cut. Having submitted a number of conceptual design ideas, and after much debate amongst the many stakeholders it resolved to a simpler identity scheme that shared a common colour palette. The designs below show the progression of the idea of partnership and creativity. A fine balance between being an innovative design and being highly readable made it a difficult process, especially as the project progressed it was thought the two logos should share more common characteristics than established at the start of the project.
