Syro, which is released by Warp Records on 22 September, will be Aphex Twin’s first studio album since Drukqs in 2001. Artwork for the album is being created by The Designers Republic, which has worked on previous Aphex Twin projects including Windowlicker and 26 Mixes for Cash.

Rumours have been rife of a new Aphex Twin album since a blimp emblazoned with the Aphex Twin logo was released over London last weekend.

Using Decima Mono to list every made up detail of the release this is ultra DiY - I'm looking forward to playing the cardboard record that comes with the limited edition!
