13 August 2014Designer Lego
You are invited to explore, experiment and create with LEGO® Architecture Studio. Containing 1210 bricks and a 272-page guidebook with contributions from Sou Fujimoto, Ma Yansong and Moshe Safdie, this new set of building blocks is aimed at the architecture and design community.
Architecture Studio has used a monochromatic scheme of white and clear elements instead of Lego's typical bold primary colours. The building elements are not as stylised as in some technical sets, favouring simplicity to allow more flexible designs - large or small.
We think it's a winner, and though not a snip at £149.99 for toy enthusiasts, as a design tool it's price is affordable.
